Account Manager
An Account Manager is a crucial part of any team. This position is critical to maintaining and developing strong client relationships and to delivering creative solutions in accordance with the needs of the client. Account Managers are responsible for the smooth financial running of the projects, including input into the cost proposals as well as ensuring that projects are cost effective and delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Suitable candidates will ideally, but not exclusively, have a life science background with experience of working with pharmaceutical clients in a communications agency environment. Previous client handling skills are required and experience of working across publication planning projects and thought leader liason would be a distinct advantage. You must be able to demonstrate to clients a knowledge of their project therapeutic area, market and audience, and convey brand messages to the highest quality. Excellent communications skills are required as you will be expected to liaise with both national and international clients. As Account Manager, you will be working closely with the Meridian Business Development team to create innovative pitch proposals to win new business.
