Description of role:
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team. The position can be either based at home in the UK or at our offices in Manchester city centre.
The ideal candidate for the Account Manager role will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a medical communications agency and a degree in a biological sciences discipline will be a distinct advantage. Experience across a full range of communications outputs, including the delivery of meetings would be beneficial. We would also like to hear from Account Executives who feel ready for the next step up in their careers.

Description of role:
We are seeking a Scientific Director. The position can be either based at home in the UK or at our offices in Manchester city centre.
The purpose of the role is to provide scientific expertise and guidance to the business and clients. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a biological sciences discipline or life science. The Scientific Director will be a member of the Meridian management team and will actively participate in and contribute to management meetings and the subsequent discussions and decisions that affect the day-to-day management, direction and success of the entire business.
You will have a proven track record as a Senior Writer or Principal Medical Writer in a medical communications agency. You are likely to be actively seeking your next career step. You will already have successfully led typical editorial projects from start to finish, delivering to time and budget and managing the expectations of clients and healthcare professionals.

Description of role:
We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Writer to join our team. The position can be either based at home in the UK or at our offices in Manchester city centre.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a biological sciences discipline and 3 to 4 years’ regulatory writing experience in medical/regulatory/publication writing in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, CRO, or medical communications agency. Experience in writing for regulatory submissions to the European or US regulatory authorities is required (e.g., CTD modules, ISS, ISE, scientific advice/briefing documents). Knowledge of the drug development process and understanding of the basic strategy for regulatory submissions is an asset. The right candidate will relish the prospect of a high-profile, client-facing role and the opportunity to deliver a range of regulatory documents as well as mentoring and reviewing work from less experienced Medical Writers. The successful candidate will be part of a team producing a range of high-quality communication items in accordance with the needs of the client. We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual who will embrace our ethos of delivering scientific excellence through collegiate working, open communication and building trusted partnerships with our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a biological sciences discipline and 5 or more years’ medical writing experience in a medical communications agency. The right candidate will relish the prospect of a high-profile, client-facing role and the opportunity to lead a team of writers on their assigned account. The role requires the ability to define and deliver strategic objectives for the account as well as ensuring scientific and editorial accuracy for all deliverables.
